In the same season, the news revealed that Tolman was set to play a 2-episode guest appearance on The Mindy Project as Abby Berman, a romance writer. In 2015 she played a supporting part of Michael Dougherty s comedy horror movie Krampus. Her breakout performance as Fargo led her to decline several supporting parts, including mother roles, best friends and wives. Tolman was searching for more unconventional roles.
